"New Kings" Era - Economy

Economy:  Anglesey's economy is heavily influenced by the central government.  The overall philosophy is to be as self-sufficient as possible and to gain wealth through trade.  New and progressive ideas are constantly introduced and greatly encouraged from the central government and through the local representatives and/'or priesthoods.  Thus, new agricultural practices and tools are first tried by the local priests who can then act as both examples and then instructors.  Rapid expansion of the realm is creating a labour shortage that is being met by new devices.  However, the insatiable need for raw materials is helping to fuel an aggressive expansion into new lands.  The obvious (even to the dullest citizen) benefits to the economy has created widespread support for the expansion.  The improvement of the lands and the lives of the humans found there plus the elimination of residual and present evil in new lands has turned economic expansion into a virtual Holy War as well.....  Anglesey citizens have great difficulty understanding why any person might choose to live in a different manner.....
