God of Disasters and Contamination
Appearance and Nature: Little information is actually known about the appearance of this God. Scholars tend to suspect he has a human form (quite ordinary looking) and an elemental form (as a thunderstorm or creeping haze of contamination in either air or water). Scholars do agree that the nature of this God is to destroy nature; especially weather and water that all life depends upon. Unnatural storms and bizarre weather patterns are his trademark, along with water that is so hopelessly contaminated that it will never support life again. His ideal would be a sterile land and sea….

Followers: It may seem bizarre for a God with an aim of erasing all life to have followers; however, he does have a large following that does his work. Followers of this God are usually not anti-life, but are not pro-environment. These are the people who contaminate water with their wastes because they cannot be bothered with the trouble and/or expense of preventing that contamination. Of course, these followers have no idea of the God’s overall plan despite contributing to its advancement…. They tend to be reassured by the priests of this God that their contamination has little impact and that it is just jealous people trying to cut into their profits that are warning of environmental doom….
Priests: The priests of this God glory in destruction. No one is sure if they are aware of the God’s long range plans. A few scholars believe that the highest level of priests know of their God’s plans, but believe they will continue to exist after their God clears away the scum of life. As for the bulk of the clergy, they view their activities as not only service to the God, but also a way of weakening or even eliminating their opponents. The fact that they can destroy things along the way is just a great perk of the job for these people. Lower level priests work on gaining followers and convincing them that the contamination is not big deal….. No one has had a chance to study a higher level priest of this deity. It is strongly believed that they have powerful spells to disrupt the weather, create destructive storms, and to hopelessly contaminate the water and seas. Empire wizards had this power and it makes many people uneasy that knowledge could have been passed on to the clerics of this domain….
